Hello,
I'm trying to work with a HP T730 Thinclient. This system is sold with
HP Thinpro OS which is based on Ubuntu 12.04.
Whith an Ubuntu 10.04 OS the microphone (connected to the headset jack)
is working well, but with newer Ubuntu versions (and also whith Fedora
and CentOS) microphone doesn't work at all.
It is recognized when I plug the Jack. The microphone is available under
Sound Configuration GUI but it doesn't record any sound.
I've try to update to last alsa-lib version without success.

I've joined output of alsa-info.sh on Ubuntu 17.04. Can someone indicate
me where I have to search to solve this problem?
Thank in advance and best regards.

If you don’t get an anwser here, and as you use Ubuntu please report
the problem to the Ubuntu issue tracker Launchpad following the
instructions on *DebuggingSoundProblems* [1].

Kind regards,
